The owners of both the Oakwood and Gainesville Bodyplex, Jennifer and Brent Loggins, announced today they purchased the former Baddock's Furniture building at 4335 Mundy Mill Road.
The building is currently under construction for a complete renovation, including steam rooms, group fitness areas, a cycle studio and updated equipment.
Two more personal trainers are expected to be hired as part of the expansion.
Previously, the Loggins rented the buildings for their gyms, including the Bodyplex gym on Thompson Bridge Road. For the past three years, the Oakwood gym was located in the former Food Lion shopping center near Interstate 985.
