The Hall County Green Alliance was formed last year. According to its Facebook page, its mission is to "Engage community, Inspire environmental action, Create a greener footprint and a healthier economy. The awards ceremony was held at Oakwood City Hall.
Volunteer of the Year Bonny Putney is presented her award by Oakwood City Manager Stan Brown.
