Braselton planning 'Rivers Alive' cleanup Oct. 26

BRASELTON - On Saturday, October 26, volunteers from the city of Braselton and Barrow and Jackson counties will be conducting their third Rivers Alive cleanup along the Mulberry River and adjacent roadways and bridges.<br /> <br /> Organizers are looking for businesses or individuals that may want to donate to the event. Donations could be in the form of the following:<br /> <br /> · Monetary donation to purchase door prizes, food & beverages for the volunteers.<br /> · Gift certificates or gift cards, iTunes, Game Stop (there is usually a lot of youth participation)<br /> · Bird feeders, bird houses, garden art, etc.<br /> · Miscellaneous promotional items with company logos (key rings, flashlights, pens, umbrellas, etc.)<br /> · Your time helping out with the clean-up activities.<br /> <br /> Anyone interested in contributing or just helping out the day of the cleanup should contact Yvette Wise via email - [email protected] - or call 706 654 3915 ext. 1012<br /> <br /> Thanks for your help!
