SAUTEE NACOOCHEE - The Folk Pottery Museum of Northeast Georgia invites visitors and area residents to take advantage of the Smithsonian Institution's annual free museum day on Saturday, September 28.<br /> <br /> "Visit www.smithsonian.com/museumday on the internet and print out a coupon authorizing free admission September 28 to a participating museum," explains Folk Pottery Museum Director Chris Brooks. "When you visit our Museum, you will not only learn about folk pottery, you will learn more about our unique relationship with the Smithsonian Institution."<br /> <br /> The Folk Pottery Museum of Northeast Georgia is located on Georgia Highway 255, ¼ mile north of the intersection with Georgia Highway 17. Museum hours are Monday-Saturday, 10 am to 5 pm; Sunday 1-5 pm. Admission is $5 adults, $4 seniors, $2 children. Anyone with a Smithsonian coupon will be admitted free Saturday, September 28.
