Cross country: Chestatee girls win Main Street News meet, boys second

JEFFERSON -- The Chestatee girls cross country team won the 11th Annual Main Street News Meet in Jefferson on Tuesday.<br /> <br /> The Lady War Eagles placed two runners in the top six to hold off host Jefferson and Hart County.<br /> <br /> Maggie Wilson finished fifth and Sara Beth English was sixth for Chestatee.<br /> <br /> The Chestatee boys finished second behind Gainesville and Galloway finished third. <br /> <br /> Jason Dang led the War Eagles placing third overall with a time of 17:56. Jack Carnes was fourth for Chestatee.<br /> <br /> The War Eagles next will compete at the annual Mountain Invitational in Helen.
