Volleyball: Johnson drops pair of matches on road

SUGAR HILL -- The Johnson girls volleyball team dropped a pair of close matches Tuesday at Lanier High School.

The Lady Knights lost in three sets to Eastside 25-19, 25-16, 25-17 and then fell to host Lanier 25-20, 25-23.

Kelly Chance paced Johnson with five aces, nine kills, 11 assists, and six digs. Cassie MacDonald had three kills and one block and Kasey Gravitt had two aces, three kills, and one block for the Lady Knights.

Caitlin Parsons added three digs for Johnson, which will play travel to Monroe Area on Thursday.
