North Georgia had four of the race's top-five finishers led by individual champion Maggie Tindol and her blistering 19:53 pace over the 5K course.
Teammate Emily Beusse was the race runner-up finishing 23 seconds behind Tindol while Alyssa Sale (20:30, 4th) and Caitlin Connell (20:32, 5th) finished fourth and fifth respectively.
Ellie Tanner also represented UNG in the top-ten with a ninth place finish after crossing the finish line in 21:00. Ashlee Varnson (21:08, 11th) and Emma Robbins (21:31, 14th) narrowly missed top-ten finishes proving the Nighthawks decisive team depth.
UNG's 21 team points finished well ahead of runner up Brenau University (49) and third-place Covenant College (67).
Truett-McConnell won the men's race with 21 team points as three Bears finished in the top three places led by individual champion Luis Gonzalez and his winning 8K time of 28:14.
The UNG women's cross country team returns to action on September 20 when the team makes the short drive over to Cleveland, Ga. to take part in the Truett-McConnell Invitational.
