Norton's Backman among NAIFA-Atlanta Top Female Advisors

ATLANTA - The Atlanta chapter of the National Association of Insurance & Financial Advisors (NAIFA-Atlanta) announced Thursday that Kim Backman of the Norton Agency in Gainesville has been named recipient of NAIFA-Atlanta's 2013 Top Female Advisors Award. <br /> <br /> This award recognizes excellence and outstanding achievement by women in the Insurance and Financial Services field through combined measurements in production, industry years, and community involvement. Candidates consisted of Atlanta metropolitan area insurance and financial professionals that were nominated by their peers or business associates. Final recipients were chosen by a panel of NAIFA-Atlanta board members.<br /> <br /> Backman has more than 20 years in the life and health insurance industry, who began her career with Columbus-based AFLAC. Today she helps manage and run the Employee Benefit Division of The Norton Agency. <br />
