There wasn't much movement in the latest rankings but one of the changes gave the area three of the No. 1 rated teams in the state with Tuesday's release of Georgia Sports Writer's Association prep football poll.

Gainesville (Class AAAAA) and Buford (Class AAA) were already tops in their classes but after this weekend's results, North Gwinnett moved into the No. 1 spot in Class AAAAAA.

Meanwhile, Flowery Branch also moved, dropping one spot to No. 9 in Class AAAAA after last week's 28-6 defeat at No. 2 Northside-Warner Robins.

Elsewhere, North Hall remained No. 7 in Class AAA, while Jefferson stayed put at No. 5 in Class AA. Mill Creek is also ninth in Class AAAAAA.

This week's schedule will feature a showdown between Gainesville and Buford at City Park, broadcast live in 1240 AM.
