BUFORD -- It was a night to remember for Buford girls softball coach Tony Wolfe.

Wolfe earned his 200th win as coach of the Lady Wolves and his daughter, Peyton Wolfe, a sophomore, earned her first varsity victory in a 10-2 win over East Hall Thursday in Region 7-AAA action.

Peyton Wolfe lasted three innings allowing three hits, no earned runs, and struck out three.

Senior Morgan Walters belted a three-run home run in the first to give Buford the lead for good. Walters shot came after East Hall had taken a quick 2-0 lead in the first taking advantage of Buford error.

Wolfe was relieved in the fourth inning by fellow sophomore Kennedy Kotula, who earned the save.

Tessa Daniels had two hits and three RBI and Jordan Deep had two hits and two RBI to lead the Buford offense.

Buford (10-0, 3-0 Region 7-AAA) next will play host to White County in another key 7-AAA contest on Tuesday.
