Softball: East Hall pounds out win over White County in 7-AAA

RABBITTOWN -- The East Hall girls softball team opened its Region 7-AAA season with an impressive 9-2 win over White County Thursday at East Hall Park.

East Hall broke the game open with a four-run sixth inning on RBI singles by Kali Turner and Erika Lopez, and a groundout by Josie Coker.

Coker would finish the day with five RBI, including a three-run home run.

Natalie Winters picked up the win for the Lady Vikings scattering five hits, walking four four, an fanning two in complete-game effort.

The East Hall Lady Vikings Varsity went up for good in the first, scoring one run on an RBI double by Kali.

The East Hall Lady Vikings Varsity answered White County's top inning with one run of their own in the fifth. The East Hall Lady Vikings Varsity scored on a fielder's choice.



The Lady Vikings will be in action again at West Hall Tuesday Aug. 20th at 5:30.
