The Longstreet Clinic welcomes new vascular surgeon

GAINESVILLE - Vascular & Vein Specialists at The Longstreet Clinic announces it newest vascular surgeon, Suman Annambhotla, M.D. He joins the practice of C. Dan Procter, M.D., FACS, and Dev Mangalat, M.D., FACS, who have more than 32 years of combined vascular surgery experience.

Annambhotla is a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology and earned his medical degree at the University of Alabama School of Medicine. He completed a residency in general surgery and participated in the vascular surgery program at Baylor College of Medicine before entering vascular surgery fellowship training at Northwestern University. During that time, Dr. Annambhotla received the Outstanding Resident Teaching/Leadership Award at Baylor in 2009 and 2011, and the Outstanding Fellowship Teaching Award at Northwestern in 2012.

He is certified by the American Board of Surgery in general surgery and is board-eligible in vascular surgery. In addition to performing procedures at the Vascular & Vein Specialists ICAVL-accredited diagnostic testing lab and on-site Vascular Access Center, Dr. Annambhotla has medical staff privileges at Northeast Georgia Medical Center. He is a member of the American College of Surgeons, the Society for Vascular Surgery, Association of Academic Surgeons and the American Medical Association.
