IronBeast to host Georgia Games for fourth straight year

GAINESVILLE -- The Georgia Games powerlifting and benchpress championships will be contested at IronBeast Barbell in Gainesville this Saturday.

Early weigh-ins will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday. Weigh-in Saturday will be from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m.

Special Olympics contest starts at 9:30 a.m. Saturday wit the regular meet to follow.

There will be raw and equipped divisions.

This will be the fourth straight year the IronBeast has hosted the Games and the fifth straight year for Gainesville. Riverside Military Academy hosted the Games in 2009.

The Georgia IronDawgs based out of Gainesville, led by T Moon and Garry Glenn will be competing.
