According to Hall County Fire Chief David Kimbrell, crews received a call alerting them to the possibility of a fire and were dispatched to the scene shortly before 8 p.m.
Upon arriving at the scene in the 3800-block of Wiley Road, Kimbrell said firefighters discovered an approximately 2500-square foot garage that was fully involved with flames.
Emergency workers were forced to take a defensive approach to battling the fire, but, according to Kimbrell, the 3-story building was deemed to have been a total loss.
Kimbrell said an investigator was called to the scene to determine the cause of the fire, which not only destroyed the garage, but also a number of vehicles, motorcycles and antiques that were stored inside.
A damage estimate from the incident is expected to be filed at a later date.
