OAKWOOD - Don't be alarmed if you see a lot of emergency vehicles on and around the Oakwood campus of the University of North Georgia (UNG) Saturday morning.

The Georgia Emergency Management Agency/Homeland Security (GEMA), Georgia Association of Emergency Medical Services (GAEMS), Department of Public Health-Office of EMS and Trauma (DPH-OEMS/T), and Georgia Tech will be holding a full-scale mass casualty incident/patient triage exercise.

The scenario will depict an explosion at a college basketball game, resulting in massive amounts of injuries and fatalities.

The exercise is scheduled to begin at 9:00 and end at 11:30. It will be held at the Hugh Mills Physical Education Complex.
