FLOWERY BRANCH - Part of a new Adam Sandler-Drew Barrymore movie, "Blended," will be shot in South Hall starting late next month.

Work has begun by the producers on renovating the athletic field at Four Seasons on Lanier, a lakeside subdivision near Flowery Branch.

According to the Four Seasons Homeowners Association, Warner Brothers' Happy Madison Productions will spend $35,000-$40,000 upgrading the field with bleachers, fencing, new grass and a press box. The added amenities, except the bleachers, which will be rented, will be left in place once the filming ends.

Filming will also take place in other locations in north Georgia. Some is also taking place in South Africa, according to the "Blended" Facebook page.

"Blended" is scheduled to be release next May, according to imdb.com .
