Gainesville Parks & Recreation officials say any areas inside the orange construction fencing is closed and off limits to the public during construction. However, the work will not affect the playgrounds or swings.
This is the start of Phase I of renovations at the park which will include the removal of the existing tennis and basketball courts and the construction of a new tennis court and basketball court. This work is expected to take about two months to complete.
