TOCCOA - Community Bank & Trust (CB&T) partnered with Eastanollee Elementary School teach children about saving money.

"CBT strives to be involved within each community we serve," said Michelle Elder-Gilreath, vice president, CBT community development. "One of the many ways to connect and make a difference in our communities is by reaching out to our schools."

The "Teach a Child to Save" Program is taught by bankers around the state.

"It's fun for us to get out of the office or out from behind the teller line and enter into a school. The energy explodes when we introduce the coins and show them that good savings habits can be built even at an early age," said Elder-Gilreath.
