Anna Ruby Falls in Helen, Ga. is hosting Hemlock Day. Save Georgia's Hemlocks will be on site to educate and host activities. Activities are free, and so is admission for those under 16. There is a $3 admission fee for those over 16.

Deep Hole, Toccoa River Sandy Bottom and Desoto Falls are all waiving entrance fees in the Blue Ridge District.

Other events include a Kid's Fishing event at Johnny Peeple's Pond in Eton, Ga., in the Conasauga district. Registration is required but admission is free.

Other fee-free weekends include National Public Lands Day on September 28 and Veteran's day weekend from November 9 - 11.
