Posted 3:45PM on Wednesday 22nd May 2013 ( 10 years ago )
Twenty quilts have been donated to the victims of the Moore, Okla. by the quilting circle at South Bend United Methodist Church in Gainesville, Ga.

The quilters were moved by the devastation of the tornado and donated all the quilts they had previously made.

"We hope this will bring a few some comfort and let them know that the entire country cares about them and are praying for them," says Beverly Long, a member of the quilting circle.

The club meets the second and third Tuesday of each month at 7 pm in the fellowship hall of South Bend United Methodist. Volunteers and interested quilters are welcome to attend, no experience necessary.
