The topic will be "Our Community Healthy Status & Small Steps That Can Make a Difference."
The program will be held at the Frances Meadows Aquatic & Community Center June 6 at noon.
The luncheon will feature a "healthy" menu using recipes provided by Mary Ann Clever and is sponsored by Brenau University and will be catered by Brenau Catering.
The outreach agency WomenSource is partnering with for June is The Junior League of Gainesville-Hall County's Feeding Our Future program.
WomenSource will hold a food drive at the luncheon and attendees who wish to make a tangible donation to this program are asked to bring any non-perishable item. However, the most-needed items include: 100% fruit juice, peanut butter, whole-grain cereal, canned tuna or chicken, soups, rice, and dried beans.
