Banks County High School wrestling coach Kasey Hanley was named the Georgia Coach of the Year. In his first season as head coach, he led his team to a state championship.
Shane Haff of Gainesville was recognized as the Wrestling Official of the Year for the state of Georgia.
The Georgia Chapter of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame held the recognition ceremony for Hanley, Haff and others on May 5 in Norcross.
