LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - A Lawrenceville man has been sentenced to at least 30 years in prison after being convicted of killing two of his sons and seriously wounding another.

Elvis Garcia-Nolasco pleaded guilty Tuesday to two counts of murder and one count of aggravated assault Tuesday.

Police said the defendant stabbed his 1-year-old son and 3-year-old twins in February 2011. Only one of the twins lived.

Police said Garcia-Nolasco stabbed himself so it would appear that he was a victim. Investigators initially arrested another man in the case, then dismissed those charges and arrested Garcia-Nolasco.

If Garcia-Nolasco is paroled, he will face deportation to Honduras.
