Officials from the Georgia Department of Natural Resources, the Georgia Department of Public Safety and the Governor's Office of Highway Safety will start the tour Tuesday morning at Lake Oliver Marina in Columbus, and then they'll make a number of stops before ending the tour Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 at Laurel Park on Lake Lanier. Governor Nathan Deal will have remarks at the Lanier stop.
Under legislation passed in the 2013 legislative session, the legal BUI limit will drop from 1.0 to .08, bringing the level in line with Georgia DUI limit.
