The Sheriff's office says these types of operations are hugely successful.
The Jackson County Sheriff's office, partners with the Georgia Department of Revenue- Alcohol/Tabacco Division. They scouted out 39 businesses in the county and only one was cited for selling alcohol to minors.
"As a result of an increase in alcohol use by underage minors and young adults at private parties and other social settings we will continue to monitor illegal sales of alcohol," said Jackson County Sheriff Janis Mangum.
