Brenau to hold commencement ceremonies on front campus

GAINESVILLE - Brenau University has announced that the Women's College commencement will take place on the front lawn of the Gainesville campus, since it appears forecast rain will hold off for the afternoon.

School officials had said earlier that the 4:30 ceremony would be moved to First Baptist Church on Green Street if necessary.

The church remains the backup venue for Saturday's undergraduate ceremony, which is set for 9:30 a.m.

School officials say an alert will be posted at brenau.edu if the venue is changed Saturday morning.
