Gateway awarded W.H.O. Foundation grant

GAINESVILLE - The W.H.O. (Women Helping Others) Foundation recently awarded a $6,500 grant to Gateway Domestic Violence Center.

The funds will be used to assist Gateway in purchasing food for the women and children living in Gateway's emergency shelter.

The Foundation gives Volunteer Service Grants to recognize BeautiControl consultants for outstanding community service. Gateway's award was received in recognition of the efforts of Sherry Smith, a BeautiControl consultant and Gateway volunteer.
