Tennis: Lions advance to Elite 8

GAINESVILLE -- The Lakeview Academy boys tennis team advanced the Elite 8 with a 4-1 win over Mt. Paran Thursday in the Class A tournament.

Lee Martin, Seth Black and Connor Thomas swept the singles for the Lions to clinch the win. Grant Hocker and Will Kellermeyer won at No. 1 doubles.

The Lions will play next week in the quarterfinals against a yet to be determined opponent.
