CLEVELAND -- North Hall clinched the Region 7-AAA title after taking a surprising 14-0 win over White County Monday.

The Trojans (23-2, 19-1 Region 7-AAA) scored in every inning but the first and used an eight-run seventh to put the game out of reach.

North Hall coach Trent Mongero said his group has been peaking at the right time.

"The last three games we played probably our most complete games," Mongero said. "We're very excited about (winning the region) but we still feel like we have plenty to work on to improve. Our goal was to be playing our best going into the playoffs -- we're getting close."

White County (15-7, 12-6) was one of the hottest teams in the region having won six straight games, starting with a win over Buford. But the North Hall offense was too much for Spencer Adams and the Warriors.

Preston Graham led a 20-hit barrage with four hits and four RBI, including a bases-clearing double. McCoy Savage and Griffin Olson each had three hits and two RBI and Zach Mize and Colton Duttweiler each added two hits and two RBI for the Trojans.

Andrew Smith and Lincoln Hewett had one hit apiece for North Hall.

Duttweiler was solid on the mound for North Hall going the distance allowing just six hits while fanning six.
The Trojans celebrate during a game earlier in the season. North Hall clinched the Region 7-AAA with a 14-0 win over White County Monday in Cleveland.
