GAINESVILLE - A 2,000-square-foot addition to Good News Clinics in Gainesville is about ready to begin taking shape.

A groundbreaking is set for 8:30 Thursday at 810 Pine Street.

Officials say the expansion has been fully funded, thanks to community support, including the Tull Charitable Foundation and "generous" individuals. They add that the addition is necessary to accommodate "the increased need for free medical and dental care services in Hall County."

Good News is the largest free medical clinic in the state. According to it latest annual report, it served 4,000 people, including 1,600 new patients in the Fiscal Year ending last September.
