Former Clermont City Councilman dies

CLERMONT - Funeral services will be held Friday for Bill Jones, a former member of the Clermont City Council.

Jones, who was 82, died Wednesday at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a brief illness.

He was retired from Wallace Sheet Metal and served on the city council from 2004-2007.

The funeral will be in the Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel Friday at 3:00.
