Micah Carpenter picked up the win allowing six hits in five innings while striking out seven. Jake Franklin got the save walking one and striking out one.
The Dragons (20-2, 12-0 Region 8-AA) scored a run in the second to grab the early lead but Rabun County tied the game with a run in the top of the fifth.
Jefferson took the lead for good in the bottom of the fifth with three runs highlighted by a two-run single from Hannon Price. The Dragons added two runs in the sixth on RBI hits from Carpernter and Franklin.
The win for the Dragons was their 11th straight and clinched first place in the region. They will play host Oglethorpe County on Friday in a double header.
