Free Suwanee concert Sat.

SUWANEE - The Journey tribute band Departure will "Faithfully" perform the top hits of the San Francisco-based, 1980s hit-makers "Any Way You Want It" when they take the Suwanee Town Center stage Saturday for a free concert. The 7 p.m. concert will be a part of Suwanee's "Super Incredible Day," which includes a registration-required team scavenger race/challenge through downtown Suwanee.

Departure will take the stage at 8 p.m. following the performance of an opening band. Departure was voted Atlanta's "best local entertainer" in 2011 and 2012. The five Departure musicians replicate the look, sound, and feel of the original '80s rock group.

Blankets, lawn chairs, and picnic baskets are welcome but no alcohol may be brought into Town Center Park. Food and beverages, including beer and wine, may be purchased that evening from Town Center restaurants and concert vendors.

Limited parking is available at Town Center. Additional parking may be available along Main Street.
