The Lions took a 1-0 first half lead and responded to falling behind 2-1 to knot the score. But the Tigers -- ranked third in Class AAA -- had one last opportunity and made the most of it, scoring off a free kick with just four seconds remaining to clinch the win.
Nathan Zottnick and Rick Valentine each provided the goals for Lakeview, while Tyler Kimball added an assist.
Lakeview (6-4) will look to bounce back on Friday against Providence Christian at 6 p.m.
The Tigers (10-1), meanwhile, face a crucial Region 7-AAA showdown on Friday against East Hall.
