Baseball: Spartans beat Fannin County

OAKWOOD -- Zach English allowed four hits and struck out 12 in 6 1/3 innings to lead West Hall to a 4-3 win over Fannin County Wednesday.

Chase Jarrard picked up the win for the Spartans (6-7, 5-6 Region 7-AAA) in relief.

The two teams will play Friday in the second of the home-and-home series in Blue Ridge.
