Baseball: Spartans rout East Hall, keep pace in 7-AAA

OAKWOOD -- The West Hall baseball team climbed to .500 in Region 7-AAA after routing East Hall 15-3 in five innings Wednesday at Spartan Field.

The Spartans (7-6, 4-4 Region 7-AAA) got a stellar performance from Michael Cronic, who got the win holding the Vikings to just three hits.

West Hall, meanwhile, pounded out 10 hits, paced by Cameron Johnson and Daniel Walsh who each had two hits and three RBI for the game.

Cronic also helped himself with a two-run triple in the first inning. The Spartans will play host to Buford on Friday in a key Region 7-AAA battle.
