Tennis: Spartans knock off East Hall in 7-AAA matchup

GAINESVILLE -- West Hall swept the doubles action to beat East Hall 4-1 Wednesday in Region 7-AAA boys tennis action.

Kip O'Kelley and Connor Kirkland beat Brian Edwards and Hayden Chapman 6-1, 6-0 at No. 1 doubles and Heston Lopez and Johnny Griffing defeated Oscar Torres and Logan Warwick 6-4, 6-2 at No. 2 doubles.

In singles, Austin Dyer beat Jose Gomez 6-0, 6-2 at No. 2 and Grayson Kyle whipped Jonathan Morales 6-1, 6-0 at No. 3 singles for the Spartans.

East Hall got its only win at No. 1 singles when Dane Allen rallied from a set down to beat Max Wilson 4-6, 6-1, 6-4.
