Tennis: GHS boys stay perfect in 8-AAAAA, nip Gladiators

GAINESVILLE -- Gainesville took two out of three singles and split the doubles in taking a 3-2 win over Clarke Central Tuesday in Region 8-AAAAA boys action at Bishop Park Tennis Center.

Getting wins for Gainesville were Jackson Goble and Graham McKinnon took easy wins at Nos. 1 and 2 singles dropping just three games combined.

Reagan Williams and Alec Zais won 6-1, 6-3 at No. 1 doubles to clinch the victory.

The Elephants Gainesville moved to a perfect 7-0 in region play with the win and will play host to Flowery Branch on Thursday.
