Baseball: Falcons tune up for No. 1 Loganville with win over Cedar Shoals

ATHENS -- Andrew Weekley fanned four in a complete game effort to lead Flowery Branch to a 9-1 win over Cedar Shoals Friday in Region 8-AAAAA baseball action.

Weekley also had two hits and Keltin Devoe and Jonathon Hughes both smacked home runs for the Falcons (9-4, 4-0 Region 8-AAAAA).

Hughes finished with four hits for Flowery Branch. Devoe had C.J. Navin had two hits each for the Falcons.

Flowery Branch will play host to Class AAAAA No. 1 Loganville on Monday.
