The Lady Bulldogs (25-6) will face 13th-seeded Montana in Spokane, Wash., on Saturday.
This will be the 19th straight NCAA appearance for Georgia, which hopes to last longer than it did a year ago. The Lady Bulldogs were eliminated in the opening round, just the third time in the last decade they have not reached at least the round of 16.
Despite all its NCAA success, coach Andy Landers' program has never won a national title.
Stanford is the top seed in the Spokane Regional. If the Lady Bulldogs win their first two games on the West Coast, they would have to return to Spokane for the regional the following weekend.
