Tennis: Lady Falcons stay perfect in 8-AAAAA

BETHLEHEM -- The Flowery Branch girls tennis team improved to 4-0 in Region 8-AAAAA after taking a 5-0 victory over Apalachee on the road Tuesday.

The Lady Falcons improved to 4-4 overall on the season and did not drop a set in the match.

In singles, Nicole Morris beat Kayla Victory 6-1 6-1 at No. 1 and Durden Smith whipped Alyssa Cowan 6-0 6-1 at No. 2 singles. Madison Smith blanked Sara Cowan 6-0 6-0 at No. 3 singles.

In doubles, Dani Taylor and Kaia Clark beat Morgan Cheek and Kaela Wagler 6-0, 6-1 at No. 1 and Megan Ribovich and Taylor Tipton beat Natalie Halligan and Bianca Uta 6-2 6-1 at No. 2 doubles.
