Greer named supervising ADA for Dawson office

GAINESVILLE - Northeast Judicial Circuit District Attorney Lee Darragh has named a Supervising Assistant District Attorney for the Dawson County office.

Darragh has appointed 44-year-old Conley Greer to fill the Supervising ADA's position, which has been vacant since the death of John Wilbanks in December 2012.

Greer began his work as an assistant District Attorney for the Northeastern Judicial Circuit in 2007, the same year he graduated from the University of Georgia School of Law.

Darragh said Greer is a veteran of the United States Navy and served in the first Persian Gulf War.

Greer assumes his new post Friday, March 1.
