Senior Jessica DePhillips placed in the senior solo division, as well, against 20 other soloists.

Several divisions were represented this year from 33 schools, including 21 high schools. The competition is judged on criteria such as technique, uniformity, difficulty, transitions, etc.

"The competition...included some tough competitors, but our girls really gave it all they had and we could not be more proud of them. It is exciting to say that they are division champs at such an important event! " said Leah Heisler who coached the team with Amy Gravitt.

Dance Dawgs Booster Club President, Christie Loveless said, "We are so proud of our FCHS Dancers! Our girls have been practicing since August and they represented our school with honor yesterday placing 1st and 2nd against schools much bigger than us. What a way to end the season."

Team sponsors for the 2012-2013 year include Choice Refrigerants, Cumming Dance Academy, and TNT Athletics.
