Baseball: Knights open with win at home

OAKWOOD -- The Johnson baseball team opened its season with a 7-1 win over Tallulah Falls on Monday at home.

Jackson Fraser and Chandler Cochran combined to fan 11 batters on the mound. Fraser earned the win on the mound.

Brandon Gailey had two hits, while Jordan Green, Hunter Newman, and Joel Munoz each had one hit for Johnson (1-0).

The Knights will take a week off before traveling to West Hall next Tuesday.
