The Lady Falcons, who came in as the No. 1 seed, will be the fourth seed from 8-AAAAA when the Class AAAAA tournament begins next week.
Flowery Branch was outscored in every quarter and just never could get untracked. The Lady Jaguars led 15-12 after the first quarter and 27-21 at halftime.
Cedar Shoals increased its lead to 38-27 by the end of the third quarter,
Tavia Sykes, who was named the Region 8-AAAAA Player of the Year was held to just nine points for Flowery Branch. Jacy Ramey also had nine points and Marissa Ivey added eight for the Lady Falcons.
