Boys basketball: North Hall holds off West Hall

MURRAYVILLE -- The North Hall boys basketball team ran its win streak to six after holding off West Hall 62-53 Friday night in Region 7-AAA action.

The Trojans (20-2, 11-1 Region 7-AAA) trailed 12-7 after the first quarter rtans 17-9 in the second quarter to grab a 24-21 halftime lead. They would outscore West Hall 38-32 in the second half to hang on for the win.

Ethan Smith had another big game with a game-high 33 points to lead North Hall. Adam Kelly added 14 points and Avery Cagle 12 for the Trojans.

Hunter Atkinson and Grayson Tyler each scored 14 points and Tyswon Cantrell had 10 for West Hall.
