Sawnee EMC Foundation donates $40,000 to local charities, classrooms

CUMMING - The Sawnee Electric Membership Foundation (The Foundation), through its Operation Round Up program, recently awarded $40,003.53 to nine local charities and through five classroom grants.

The local charitable organizations that received funding this quarter were:

1. North Metro Miracle League
2. Prevent Blindness Georgia
3. American Legion Auxiliary Unit 307
4. Fragile Kids Foundation
5. St. Vincent de Paul - Forsyth
6. St. Vincent de Paul - Dawson
7. Lekotek of Georgia
