Girls basketball: North Forsyth knocks off Chattahoochee

ALPHARETTA -- North Forsyth outscored Chattahoochee 36-15 in the second and third quarters to erase an early deficit en route to a 56-45 win Tuesday night in Region 6-AAAAAA action.

The Lady Raiders (6-0, 1-0 Region 6-AAAAAA) trailed 15-10 after the first quarter but exploded in the second quarter to take a 28-21 halftime lead. They extended the lead to 46-30 heading into the fourth quarter.

Lochlain Corliss led North Forsyth with 16 points, four rebounds, four steals, and two assists. Caroline Bowns added 12 points and seven rebounds, and Avery Scarbrough had 11 points, 11 rebounds, and three steals for the Lady Raiders.

Chattahoochee fell to 2-4 overall, 0-1 in the region with the loss.
