The plan was developed following analysis of transportation data and input from the public, along with the plan's focus group.
The central element of this document, according to city officials, is a list of recommended transportation projects. (See link below.) The list provides the city with "direction for specific improvements to be pursued in the short-term as well as looking forward through the year 2040."
City officials say the transportation project list is a prioritized one and was split into three tiers, which generally correlate to short-term, mid-term, and long-term projects.
They add that specific implementation years can't be determined at this time. However, specific project types and a range of years are proposed for each of the three tiers, which include the following:
