GAINESVILLE - West Gainesville is getting another restaurant.

Denny's plans to open Tuesday at 8:00 a.m. at 1701 Browns Bridge Road near Red Lobster, employing 75 people.

The new diner will have a significant impact on the Gainesville community by creating 75 new jobs for local residents.

The Gainesville Denny's is owned and operated by Donnell Thompson and Ronald Wooten (RWDT Foods Inc.), two former college All-American football players who went on to play in the National Football League. Thompson played for the Indianapolis Colts for 11 years and Wooten spent nine years with the New England Patriots. The duo recently signed a development agreement to open an additional 20 new diners in the Atlanta area over the next few years.
